ENRIQUE DUARTE URRUTIA
POSTER DESIGN WINNER
This year the prompt word for the Student Exhibition poster competition was AUDACITY. The interpretation of the word was fully in the hands of each student.
“My surroundings and the people in the city of Gainesville, including my friends and objects found on the street. The challenge to use mixed media in the project was appealing and gave me the opportunity to connect the prompt word ‘audacity’ with my inspiration.” Enrique Duarte Urrutia

Explore the Work of SF’s Graphic Design Graduates at the 2025 Exhibition
We are thrilled to invite you to the annual Santa Fe College Graphic Design Student Exhibition, presented by SCAD Media, happening on Thursday, May 1st, at 6 PM. The event will take place on the third floor of Building N at SF’s Northwest Campus.
This creative evening will feature the incredible work of our graphic design graduates and undergraduates across a variety of media displays. You’ll find themed photo areas, interactive activities that are a surprise to guests every year, and the best live music. The 2025 Student Exhibition isn’t just a celebration for our graduates – it’s becoming a gathering place in the Gainesville creative community. With over 150 attendees last year, it’s clear that this event is gaining attention as one of the best celebrations of graphic design in the area!
The juried exhibition will feature student work in communication design, advertising design, and digital media. We’re pleased to announce this year’s judges, all of whom have been longstanding supporters of our program: Trudy Abadie-Mendia, Director of Digital Programs at the University of North Florida; Marien Zambrano, Marketing Communications Manager & Senior Graphic Designer at Anda, Inc.; and Jessica Sallustio, Senior UX Designer at Love & Company.
The day before the exhibition opening, a panel of professionals from organizations across the nation such as Friends of Kids with Cancer, Mastercard, UF Research Communications, James Moore & Co., Fanatics, Southwest Gas Corporation, General Electric Credit Union, UF Lastinger Center for Learning, PHOS Creative, and more will be reviewing each graduate’s portfolio.
As one of the region’s leading graphic design programs for well over 30 years, Santa Fe College’s Graphic Design Technology program continues to stand out for its innovative and hands-on approach to education. This highly rigorous program equips students with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the competitive world of graphic design.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors, whose generosity makes this event possible. Special thanks to our platinum event sponsor, SCAD Media; gold sponsors Jade, Frankel: Agency, and Renaissance Printing; and silver sponsors Gainesville Fine Arts Association (courtesy of Susan Fulford), J&D Oilfield International, NV5, and Liquid Creative.
And to make the evening even more engaging, we’re happy to welcome Rayvon Purple Kloud Rollins back for the second year in a row to provide dynamic live music!
The Graphic Design Student Exhibition is a chance to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the 2025 graduating class. We invite family, friends, the creative community, and the public to join us for this unforgettable event. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to a graduate or email Professor Shawna Mansfield at shawna.mansfield@sfcollege.edu.
See you there!
